This write up is looking at the security practices for an event which in this case is an exhibition for various stakeholders (tailors, farmers and carpenters). Walton & Philpot (2011) mention that the role of security in an event is to maintain an environment that is operative and well-organized as well as allowing the event to proceed with the little inconvenience as possible to those participating. This statement is of course true because at the event the organizers did hire the security guards who did their work effectively and efficiently at the same time making all the participants to feel at home indeed.

Event security has some particular intentions as agreeing to Anonymous (2011), is to protect property from damage. This also was practiced at the event because the security guards were always vigilant to protect people and their properties from any danger and theft. The other aim of security is to be responsible to give a report during and after the incident (Anonymous, 2012). The statement is also true as there was the other group which had some misunderstanding concerning the exhibits, the security guard was there and had to give a report during the incident and after the incident.
