TIME MANAGEMENT
Time
management is defined as a range of skills, tools and techniques used to manage
the event in relation to time(Scouting.org, 2010).There are some strategies put
in place to manage time and they include situations whereby time is being
tracked( Scouting.org,2010). This is explained by the scenario whereby the
event leader was aware of how long the task will take, for example the use of
an action plan was definitely help in managing this issue.
The
second strategy is setting priorities (Chapman & Rupured, 2008). This was
clearly explained by the situation whereby the event leader was setting a
distinction or difference between what is importance and urgent for the event
to take place smoothly. According to Anonymous (2002) time management is of
paramount importance because through it there is frustration reduction. This is
true because if the workers are organized in their duties their minds will
always be fresh and that can be used as an opportunity to increase production.
On the other hand the extra benefit is that the management of time helps one to
utilize the available time in a good manner to achieve the professional goals (Lakmal,
2013). In this case the professional goal being the production of healthy food
for the patients.
