SPORTING ACTIVITIES- FIRST AID

SPORTING ACTIVITIES- FIRST AID

The mandate of the blog post is to discuss the first aid procedures and benefits that took place at the sport activities held at Tonota Primary School ground. Anonymous (2012) defined the term first aid as the treatment given immediately to a person who is suffering a certain injury. This statement is true looking at the fact that during the activates there were some participants who experienced some fracture injuries and the first they received was that the first aiders help by bringing back the bones to their original places.

First aid is a necessity in every occasion because according to Worketh (2004) it is used a lifesaving mechanism. This account is the fact because one of the athlete experienced a nose bleeding, and the first aider applied an ointment to his nose a way of slowing the flow. But if first aid was not offered may he could have over bleed and lost life. Furthermore first aid is provided in order to stop the injured person condition from becoming worse. This is applicable because as the time when one of the athlete was running a piece of stone got in his eye. The kind of first aid provided was that cold water was run on his eye.
